Data You Give Us Directly
The search forms on this site send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party search provider that powers the results. We do not store a duplicate of those searches on our own servers. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include and use it only to respond.
Data Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use the data described above to run the site, troubleshoot errors, measure traffic, and improve pages. We do not sell a visitor list. We also do not build individual user profiles from site activity.
Links to Other Websites
This site links to Chula Vista, San Diego County, California, court, library, and third-party search resources. Each outside site has its own privacy policy, and information you submit there is governed by that site's rules, not ours. That is especially important for sponsored search results, which are provided by a third-party company.
Who Might See Your Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Server logs are retained only as long as needed for the purposes listed above. Because this site does not run user accounts, there is no site password or account profile for us to protect.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a website holds about you, including rights under California privacy law, Civil Code ยงยง 1798.100 et seq., when that law applies. Because we hold very little, most requests are narrow: we can search our contact mailbox and server logs and remove what we find. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by Chula Vista, San Diego County, California, or court offices are outside our control; removal or correction requests for those records must go to the custodian office.
Updates to This Policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
